Instruction to author

Detailed instructions for authors will be available in the journal’s website as follows:

  1. Submission Checklist

-       Read the Aims and Scope to identify if your manuscript is suitable for this journal

-       Read the Instructions for Authors to prepare a manuscript.

-       Please make sure all the ethical and copyright issues have been considered accordingly before the submission.

-       Please use Microsoft word template (Appendix 1) for your manuscript preparation.

  1. Language: All manuscripts should be written in English or Bahasa Melayu.
  2. Article Structure: Manuscript should consist of Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Data and Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgement and References.
  3. Title: Concise and Informative and should be at a maximum of 25 words.
  4. Abstract: An abstract should describe the problem/issue, novelties, methodologies, main findings and specific conclusions. Please provide an abstract of a maximum of 250 words in both English and Bahasa Melayu. Translation service will be provided for manuscripts that are submitted by non-Malaysian authors. (IS THIS FREE??)
  5. Keywords: Please provide 5 keywords that precisely represent your manuscript.
  6. Highlights: 3 – 5 highlights (each highlight cannot more than 85 characters)
  7. Acknowledgements: A description of acknowledgement to financial, technical, data collection and all-kinds of support needed to be included before references.
  8. References: Please refer to the American Psychological Association (APA) style in the citations and references of this manuscript. A complete guide of APA in-text and reference list is available at https://www.mendeley.com/guides/apa-citation-guide.
  9. Text formatting: Manuscripts should be prepared using a word template as attached in Appendix 1 and shall be saved in .docx format (word 2007 or higher). Length of each document should not be more than 7500 words for a manuscript, and 10000 words for a review. The word count includes the title to the references, but excluding figures and tables.

Besides that, authors should summarize the literature and state the research problem/issue/gap clearly. Please make                   sure your citations are well balanced, relevant and up-to-date.

A brief geographical description of study area with at least one figure to show the location. A standard map should contain coordinates, north arrow, scale and legend.

                    3.2Methodology / framework / theory

Please describe the overall workflow of your study as details as possible. We encourage to prepare a figure represents the entire workflow / framework / theory.

In the Results section, simply describe the major research findings that you discovered.

 

5.0Discussion

This section should answer the questions of what do your results mean? Compare your results with those from other similar studies, either your results similar or difference with other works. Please provide reasons the                     statements. In addition, you can also include limitations of current work and some suggestions to improve in the future.

                 

                    6.0Conclusions

This section should summarize the findings as simple as possible. Authors do not need to include statistical values that have been mentioned previously in the results section.

                Acknowledgement

                Authors should acknowledge any funding or technical support in this section.
